A Message from
Our Founder
Hi, I’m Hayley Wilson, and like many Australians, my journey as a wildlife carer began with one small rescue, an animal in need of a helping hand.
What started as a simple act of care quickly grew into a deep commitment to protecting the incredible diversity of our native wildlife. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the tireless dedication of volunteers who give their time, hearts, and often their own savings to save injured and orphaned animals — from kangaroos and possums to birds, reptiles, and beyond.
I founded Australian Wildlife Hub because I believe we can make a bigger difference, together. By learning, shopping, and giving through this platform, you’re helping to support the local carers and small organisations that keep Australia’s wildlife safe every single day.

Every course enrolment and merchandise purchase directly supports small, registered wildlife organisations and carers across Australia. We prioritise local groups that often miss out on mainstream funding, and we share updates so you can see exactly where your contribution is making a difference.
Are the courses accredited?
Our courses are designed by experienced carers, trainers, and wildlife professionals to deliver practical, real-world knowledge. While they’re not formally accredited, they’re trusted learning tools that can help prepare you for volunteering or caring roles within licensed wildlife organisations.
Can I choose which group my funds support?
Yes! At checkout or enrolment, you’ll have the option to select a participating wildlife organisation you’d like to support. If you prefer, you can also let us distribute your funds where they’re most needed across our network of carers.
How are the wildlife organisations selected?
We partner with small, registered wildlife groups and independent carers doing hands-on rescue and rehabilitation work. Every group is verified to ensure funds go directly to real, on-the-ground impact, not administration.
